Boys Tennis
D2 South Playoffs
#1 Sharon, 3 vs. #4 Medfield, 2 – Final – Sharon’s Peter Hu rallied from a set down to win at first singles 5-7, 6-3, 6-0 and help Sharon overcome a 2-0 deficit. After second and third singles lost, Hu came back at first singles and both doubles teams – Max Crooks & Grant Barron and Eric Hefez & Richard Shen – won in straight sets. Crooks and Barron won 7-5, 6-1 at first doubles and Hefez and Shen won 6-2, 6-2 at second doubles. Sharon advances to the D2 South Sectional Finals to play against #3 Duxbury (19-2) on Friday, 6/6 at a time and location to be announced.

#7 Sharon, 1 vs. #6 Needham, 4 – Final

D2 South Playoffs
#2 Foxboro vs. #3 Hingham – The Warriors swept in singles play for the third straight playoff match. Foxboro advances to its third South Sectional final in four years, this year to face #4 Nauset (20-2) at Gates Middle School in Scituate on Friday, 6/6 at 3:30.
