1. Milford	(19-1)	The Hawks have a chance to reach 20 wins after picking up a 2-0 win over old rival Marlborough. With Shannon Smith the new strikeout record holder in Massachusetts, the focus will now turn to another state championship. - RL
2. King Philip	(15-4)	The Warriors suffered a stunning extra innings loss to Taunton earlier this week, but Tori Constantin and Anna O'Neill both smacked homers and the offense seems to be clicking. KP rebounded to avenge an earlier loss against Coyle and enters the playoffs as a favorite in the South. - JP
3. North Attleboro	(14-5)	he Rocketeers crushed Bishop Feehan on Wednesday. The win reinforced the idea that when North's offense is firing, the Rocketeers are as good as any team in D1. Meg Colleran has been pitching outstanding but Rose Mooney, Jackie Del Bonis, Marissa Gifford and co. need to produce at the plate too. - JP
4. Taunton	(14-6)	First season in the league? Two freshmen in the first four hitters? No problem for the Tigers, who swept the season series with KP and split with North. Of course, the Tigers also got swept by Franklin and lost to Oliver Ames. Taunton is a true wildcard heading to the tournament. - JP
5. Oliver Ames	(12-6)	The Tigers saw their seven-game win streak snapped and with a Taunton win over KP, OA drops back to number five. They will now look to get revenge on two non-league opponents that they dropped games to early this season. – RL
