Boys Hockey
Foxboro, 4 @ Stoughton, 1 – Final – Sophomore Peter Smith scored a hat trick for the Warriors and freshman Zach Lewis scored an empty net goal to ice the game. Stoughton’s Donnie Foley scored on an assist from Ryan McSweeney. 
King Philip, 2 @ Somerville, 2 – Final – Tom Hanson scored the Warriors’ first goal in the first period and then Bobby Duggan gave the Warriors’ their second lead of the game on an assist by Ethan Douglas. 
Oliver Ames, 4 vs. Whitman-Hanson, 1 – Final – Seniors Timmy Doherty and Tyler Provost each scored twice to lift the Tigers to their first win of the season.
Canton, 3 @ Quincy, 1 – Final – Shaun Kirby scored twice and Matt Lazaro once for the Bulldogs in their season opener.

Boys
Attleboro, 30 vs. Franklin, 70 – Final – Luke Gordon finished with the fourth best time in the 300M race in the league and tied for second in the league in the high jump. Junior Ryan Spelman finished with the third best time of the day in the one mile race. David Seybert had Attleboro’s best finish of the day, finishing the two mile race in 10:17.82, the second best time on the day among Hockomock teams.
Canton, 35 vs. Sharon, 61 – Final – Sharon junior William McManus had a time of 8.45 in the 55M hurdles, good for second best among Hockomock teams. Sophomore Tianrui Sun finished the 1000M race in 2:49.82, the fourth best finish on the day. Canton’s Liam Collins was edged by less than a second in the one mile race, finishing in second by just 0:00.26 and senior Kenny Ofonagoro recorded a 19-01.00 in the long jump, second best in the Hockomock.
Foxboro, 43 vs. Stoughton, 57 – Final – Senior Kevin Lucas had the top result in the Hockomock in the shot put (46-05.00), juniors Jordan Taylor and Clifton Gerring finished with the fifth and sixth best times in the league respectively and David Lockhart finished the 600M race second in 1:28.00, less than a second behind the best finish on the day. Foxboro’s 4×200 relay had the third best time on the day and Jaylyn Jackson finished with the fifth best result in the shotput with a 42-07.00.
King Philip, 55 vs. Taunton, 45 – Final – John Berdos tied for the best finished in the league in the high jump (5-09.00), sophomore Matt Fricker and Berdos finished with the fifth and sixth best times in the 300M race respectively. Taunton’s Damion Theodule had the second best time on the day in the 55M dash with a 6.91 and Brian Cherenfant had the second best time in the 300M race with a 37.13.
Mansfield, 40 vs. North Attleboro, 60 – Final – Sophomore Nick Rajotte (55M), senior Andrew Hanwell (300M), senior Teddy Nolan (2 Mile), senior Nathan Adeyemi (55M hurdles, long jump), senior Brett Inglese (High Jump) and the 4×400 relay team all had league best times on the day. Mansfield’s Dean Jenssen (600M), Mike Duggan (1 Mile) and the 4×200 relay team placed first while Andrew Simons and Jack Crawford finished with the best and second best times in the 1000M race. 
Milford, 28 vs. Oliver Ames, 71 – Final – Senior Kyle Nichols tied for the best finish in the high jump with a 5-09.00, Brandon Boone finished third in the long jump (19-00.00) and Zach Zolotarevsky finished with the fourth best time in the 600M race on the day.
Girls
Attleboro, 24 vs. Franklin, 76 – Final – Senior Sabrina LoMonaco had the second best result in the shot put (33-10.00), sophomore Meghan Doherty recorded the second best time in the one mile race (5:50.84) and junior Brittany Robinson had the fourth best time in the 1000M race (3:23.74) for the Panthers. Attleboro’s Ashley Daggett and Courtney Daggett tied for the best finish in the high jump at 5-01.00. 
Canton, 33 vs. Sharon, 67 – Final – Senior Mia Kamara had the best finish for the Eagles, registering the second best finish in the 55M dash at 7.62. Junior Brigid Loftus had the fourth best finish on the day in the 55M hurdles and senior Shira Oknin had the fifth best finish in the league in the shot put. Canton junior Cat Song had the best time in the 2 Mile race by almost 10 seconds, clocking in at 11:56.41.
Foxboro, 81 vs. Stoughton, 18 – Final – Foxboro sophomore Meredith Cronin finished with the third best time on the day in the 1 Mile at 5:54.04 and senior Liz Holmes had the fourth best time among Hockomock teams in the 2 Mile race at 12:16.86.
King Philip, 66 vs. Taunton, 34 – Final – Junior Christa Wagner had the best time on the day in the 300M race (42.67), senior Olivia Weir had the top time in the 1000M race (3:05.07) Abby Seaberg recorded the best time in the 1 Mile race (5:39.45), Hannah McNeil recorded the best time in the 55M hurdles (9.41) and the 4×400 relay team (Weir, Gianna Bender, Erica Layne, McNeil) finished with the top time (4:13.91). Taunton’s Jessica Maki had the top time in the 600M race (1:41.48) and the Tigers 4×200 relay team had the best time as well.
Mansfield, 56 vs. North Attleboro, 44 – Final – Junior Lauren Waters had the top time on the day in the 55M dash at 7.55 and senior Lindsay Goulet finished with the second best time in the 300M race at 43.26. North’s Ann Roberts had the third best time on the day in the 2 Mile race at 12:06.47 while juniors Hana Caster and Isabelle Renzi tied for the top finish in the long jump, both at 16-01.00.
Milford, 26 vs. Oliver Ames, 74 – Final – Oliver Ames junior Chi-Chi Akanegbu had the best finish on the day in the shot put at 35-05.75 and sophomore Dana Lowney recorded the third best time on the day in the 1000M race at 3:22.72.

Sharon also defeated Sandwich thanks to back to back wins by sophomores Ian Langol-Lenard (220) and Nate Hirsh (heavyweight). Senior Kevin Chan went 4-0 on the day for the Eagles.

Geo Tuttle (220) went 3-0 on the day for the Scarlet Hawks and Andrew Salazar (285) went 2-0. Diego Pinto, River Cabral, Joe Valanzola, Ryan Gray and Nic Johnson all went 2-1 on the day for Milford.

Senior captains Sam Caskey (220) and Jared Archer (285) both went 2-0 on the day while senior Ryan Larkin (170) went 3-0. All three finished with two pins each. Sophomore Stephen Healy recorded his first career victory.
Other Wrestling Notes: Canton finished third overall in the Scituate tournament … Stoughton finished second overall in the Mt. Hope Tournament. Joe Girolamo and Brett Layton each finished first in their class.
