D1 South

#14 Franklin, 7 vs. #19 Somerset Berkley, 2 – Final – Caroline D’Aprile struck out 10 to get the win in the circle for the Panthers. At the plate, Brie Flaherty went 3-4 with an RBI, Christine Harvey had a pair of RBI, Alicia Donovan went 3-4 and Olivia DiGiacomo went 2-3. Head coach Kate Fallon-Comeau said Maddie Connelly played “outstanding defense” with three assists and three put outs. 
#18 Oliver Ames, 2 @ #15 Mansfield, 1 – Final – Mansfield’s Maddie Letendre kept Oliver Ames hitless through the first six innings but the Tigers clawed their way back in the seventh. Katie Pursley led off the top of the seventh inning with a triple to right field and Jamie Gottwald reached on a bunt and stole second. Liz Bullock connected on a two-out hit into left field, scoring Pursley and Gottwald. Mansfield loaded the bases in the bottom half with one out but OA’s Mattea Sarnecki caught a line drive and got the double play at third to end the game. Sarah Struzik got the win, tossing a complete game allowing five hits. Letendre had 12 strikeouts and Ali Medeiros knocked in Ashley Cuneo for Mansfield’s run in the fourth inning.
D2 South
#19 Foxboro, 3 @ #14 Fairhaven, 10 – Final
Boys Lacrosse
D1 South

#4 Franklin, 15 vs. #13 Brookline, 5 – Final – Franklin senior Austin Kent had a team-high five points with four goals and one assist, Justin Miller scored a hat trick and had one assist and goalie DJ Shea made 12 saves in net. Head coach Lou Verrochi said Sean Lockhart, Alec Borkowski and Mike Sullivan were “excellent on defense.”
D2 South
#6 Canton, 4 @ #3 Dennis-Yarmouth, 5 – Final – Trailing by three late in the fourth quarter, Canton’s comeback came up just short. The Bulldogs scored with just over a minute to go and once again with nine seconds left to cut the deficit to one. The game was 2-2 at halftime. Paul Swart had a pair of goals and an assist for the Bulldogs, Ben O’Neill scored once and had one assist, Joe Mulkay scored one goal and Dan Dillon had one assist.
D2 Central/East
#5 North Attleboro, 3 @ #4 Wayland, 14 – Final – Sean Young scored twice for the Rocketeers and Dan McDonald scored once. 
#8 Foxboro, 5 @ #1 Medfield, 15 – Final

#14 Canton, 3 vs. #3 Notre Dame Academy, 17 – Final – Erin Proctor and Lindsey Nolte each scored once for the Bulldogs, Maria Mackie scored her first varsity goal and Mary Nee had a pair of assists.
