D1 East Playoffs
#3 Franklin, 8 @ #2 Lincoln-Sudbury, 7 – Final (OT) – Maegan Schmauder scored with six seconds left in overtime for the game winner as the Panthers rallied from a 5-2 halftime deficit. Schmauder finished with three goals and an assist, Emily Jeffries netted three goals and Julia Jette and Julianne Pisani each scored once. Bailey Knous played well in transition and Julia Bireley, Tracy Pisani, Lauren Altobelli and Nicole Ellin all played well defensively. Alex Mitchell was outstanding in net according to head coach Kristin Igoe and made nine saves. Franklin advances to the D1 East Finals to play at #1 Concord-Carlisle (17-2-1) on Sunday*, 6/8 at 2:00.
