Boys Lacrosse
King Philip, 11 @ Mansfield, 1 – Final – King Philip raced out to a 5-0 lead at halftime and never looked back in their season-opener. Sophomore attack Tim Watson led a balancing scoring attack with four goals and one assist, senior Brandon King had four goals, senior Nick Sajdak had two goals and two assists and senior Lukas Cepkauskas had four assists. Sophomore goalie Paul Macrina made 12 saves in net for the Warriors. Mansfield’s Connor Finerty scored the Hornets’ lone goal.
Foxboro, 16 @ Norwood, 7 – Final – Junior Pat McCarthy registered a total of 10 points, scoring five goals and adding five assists, to lead the Warriors to their first win. Senior Matt Stamatov scored three goals and added two assists and senior Tom Blake had four goals and one assist. 
Girls Lacrosse
Foxboro, 8 @ Hingham, 8 – Final
King Philip @ Walpole – Postponed to TBA
Boys Volleyball
Milford, 3 vs. St. John’s (Shrewsbury), 0 – Final – The Scarlet Hawks cruised to a sweep (25-9, 25-9, 25-7) in their season opener. Senior middle hitter Devin Lemote had an efficient night with nine kills on just 11 attempts. Erik Vega, Earl Bassett and Stevan Luna also had strong matches for Milford.
Taunton, 1 vs. Durfee, 3 – Final – After taking the first game 25-19, the Tigers were edged in three straight (23-25, 25-27, 21-25). Yuri Valente shined for Taunton with 22 kills, 13 digs and an ace. Lance Law added 14 kills, five digs and a block.
