Boys Basketball
D2 South
#3 Oliver Ames, 72 vs. #2 Sandwich, 62 – Final – Ryan Carney led all scorers with a game-high 24 points, 11 of which came in the third quarter, and also had eight rebounds. Chris Kyne had 21 points (10 in the first quarter) and nine rebounds, Rael Handy had 10 points, six rebounds and six assists and Franklin Holgate had four points and five rebounds off the bench. The Tigers outrebounded Sandwich 41-24. Oliver Ames will now play #5 Bishop Feehan in the D2 South Sectional Final on Saturday, 3/7 at 2:30 at Brockton High. 
Girls Basketball
D2 South
#3 Foxboro, 54 vs. #2 Falmouth, 40 – Final – Foxboro advances to play #1 Duxbury in the D2 South Sectional Final on Saturday, 3/7 at 12:00 at Brockton High.

Super 8
#7 Franklin, 0 vs. #2 Malden Catholic, 5 – Final
D2 South
#6 Canton, 5 vs. #2 Medfield, 1 – Final – Junior John Femia scored a pair of goals and had two assists for the Bulldogs, who got revenge for a loss to Medfield in last year’s sectional final. Matt Lazaro scored a pair of goals and Shaun Kirby scored one. Canton will face top seed Westwood in the D2 South final on Sunday, March 8 at 4 p.m. at Gallo.
