Game of the Week – Boys Basketball
Franklin, 51 @ Mansfield, 61 – Final – Junior Nick Baskin had a game-high 18 points for the Hornets, who outscored Franklin by 14 in the second half and won their third straight Kelley-Rex division title. Ryan Boulter added 15 points, five boards and three assists, Michael Boen had a double-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds and six assists and sophomore Matt Ehrlich had seven points, seven boards and three assists. Marcus Giese had a team-high 12 points for Franklin and added nine rebounds, Shawn Hanley had 11 points, Markus Bohmiller had 10 points and Tim Prunier had nine points, six rebounds and four assists. 

Boys Basketball
Attleboro, 51 @ Taunton, 73 – Final

Canton, 37 @ Sharon, 54 – Final – Sharon’s Matt Lowerre had a team-best 12 points and also added seven steals in the win for the Eagles, who are now qualified for the state tournament. Griffin Jerrier led Canton with a team-high 17 points. 

Foxboro, 82 @ Oliver Ames, 87 – Final (2 OT) – Rael Handy had a career-night for the Tigers, scoring a personal best 28 points and adding a career-high 13 assists to go with five steals. Handy also had the tying free throw to send the game into double overtime. Ryan Carney added 23 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Robby Lowey scored a career-high 26 points for the Warriors while Alex DuBrow had 14 points and 15 assists, the most by any player this year. Mark Clagg had 16 points, including a three pointer near the end of regulation to send the game into overtime. Tom Rogers chipped in 12 points for Foxboro.

King Philip, 57 @ North Attleboro, 44 – FinalKing Philip junior Ryan Layman scored a team-high 18 points for the Warriors, senior Nick Dumont added 16 points, and senior Erich Ryan chipped in with 11 points. King Philip qualified for the state tournament with the win.

Milford, 64 @ Stoughton, 87 – Final – Stoughton had five players score in double digits, led by Michael Manning’s 14 points and 12 rebounds. Brandon Swain-Price had 15 points and nine rebounds, Brandon Teixeira added 11 points and nine rebounds, Elson opes and Melvin Amado each scored 10 points and Dennis Rebelo had eight points, six rebounds and six assists. 

Girls Basketball
Taunton, 31 @ Attleboro, 64 – Final – Emily Houle finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Bombardiers, who broke the game open with a 17-2 third quarter. Sarah Deyo scored 16 points, including the 500th of her career, and added seven rebounds. Kimberly Runey had five points and six assists. The Tigers were led by Jordan Wade with nine points and Soraya Leon with eight.

Sharon, 34 @ Canton, 52 – Final Eileen Khoury scored 12 points to lead the Bulldogs, while Gabby Kenefick scored 11 and Alana Murphy added 10 on Senior Night. 

Oliver Ames, 45 @ Foxboro, 59 – Final – Kat Tamulionis led all scorers with 19 points and went 13-14 from the free throw line. Ashley Sampson added 13 points and knocked down three treys, while Kristen Bortolotti scored 10 for the Warriors. OA was led by Francesca Calabraro’s 17 points (13 in the first half).Meg Hurley added 11 points and 10 rebounds and Sam Bamford scored 10 for the Tigers. Foxboro broke the game open with a 15-5 third quarter.

Mansfield, 37 @ Franklin, 44 – Final Julianne Pisani led the Panthers with 10 points. Jillian Spolidoro had nine points for the Panthers, who had nine players score in the game. Mansfield was led by Jen Peel with 14 points. Jess Stoyle and Alyssa Kelley each added seven points.

King Philip, 39 @ North Attleboro, 59 – Final Caroline Collard was top scorer for the Rocketeers with 16 points and Ashley Ahern added 13. The Warriors were led by Emily Sullivan and Courtney Kelleher with eight points apiece. North Attleboro clinched at least a share of the Kelley-Rex title — its third consecutive league title. 

Stoughton, 45 @ Milford, 54 – Final Katie Irwin paced the Hawks with 14 points. Nicole Dahlgren added 11 and Emily Piergustavo chipped in with seven points. Stoughton’s Alecia Quinones had 16 points and Bridgette Whalen added seven points for the Black Knights.

Boys Hockey
Foxboro, 1 @ Oliver Ames, 10 – Final

North Attleboro, 3 @ Mansfield, 6 – Final

Franklin, 2 @ Malden Catholic, 6 – Final – Ryan Spillane gave Franklin a 1-0 lead and Joe Bourque made it 2-1 in favor of the Panthers late in the first period. This is an exclusion game for Franklin and won’t count towards playoff seeding. 

Taunton, 8 vs. Greater New Bedford, 0 – Final – Jordan Hoey and Zack Albert (two assists) each scored twice for the Tigers while Matt Grover, Will Walsh, Jake Roberts and Dom Cote each scored once. Cam Carnes, Mike Volkmann and Nick Terry each had two assists. Cam Pitts notched his fourth shutout of the season for Taunton.
