Why do you play the sport of soccer?I love playing the sport and the feeling I get when I do. Over the years I've developed some of my best friends through soccer. And I love my team. They make playing even that more enjoyable.
Why is 2012-2013 going to be a good year for North Attleboro High School?
For the girls soccer team, some of us have been playing together since we were about 8. This is what we've all worked so hard for basically our whole lives. For the school as a whole, our class has been known for our athletic ability. Whether it's in volleyball, tennis, football, basketball, cheerleading etc. Also, academically we have a bunch of students who have excelled. We have an excellent theater and chorus/band program too. Everyone has high hopes for this year and I'm sure they'll be reached.
What is your favorite NA soccer memory so far?
There are so many. Some on the field, and a lot off the field. But sticking to the lines of soccer, last year our second game vs Sharon. Last year was our first season with our new coach Bill Wallace. He had previously coached Sharon. The first time we played them suffered a deafening 4-0 loss. So the next time we matched up, we were sure to not let our chance slip away. Having home field advantage, we felt a little more confident and got on the board first. Then Sharon tied it up 1-1. But again, we came back in the lead 2-1. Then again they tied it up! The game was back and fourth and extremely physical with that. But with seven minutes left I scored the game winning goal. It was the greatest feeling and our team took back what was ours. We had all played so well and it's a game we still talk about to this day.
What were your emotions when you played your first varsity game?
My first game on varsity was unexpected. I was a freshman and the JV game got canceled because their field was unplayable. So I was told an hour before game time to go grab a white jersey and warm up with varsity. When my coach called my name to go in I was extremely nervous! Every time I got the ball I was so nervous to get it taken away so I passed it every opportunity I could haha. I've stayed on varsity ever since and am thankful for the experience I've gained.
What makes playing for North Attleboro High School so special?
We might not be the best team in the Hock, but we're a team with a lot of heart and a team that would do anything for each other. This has the potential to be one of our best seasons in a real long time as well. Sometimes we will play other towns that will be yelling at each other and being nasty. We always say how we are so opposite of that. Not only as a team, but as a school. Everyone's so supportive of each other and you'll always see other teams at different sports events.
When you’re not practicing, what are you usually doing?
Besides from being at school, I like to hang out of my friends of course. Two of my five best friends are on the soccer team so I'm always with them any ways. Lately, I've been trying to get a lot of college stuff done too.

In no particular order, 'Til I Collapse by Eminem, Imma Shime by Youngbloodz, and Fall Back by Sam Adams
