The Oliver Ames golf team won the Division 2 South (South Shore) Sectional Tournament on Monday, edging neighboring Mansfield by two strokes. Both teams will advance to the MIAA Division 2 State Tournament. OA finished with a team score or 316 while Mansfield shot a 318. The sectional finals took place as Easton Country Club. 

Sam Minsky led the way for the Tigers, tying for the top score on the day by shooting a 75. Conor Gradin had the best day for Mansfield, just missing out on the top spot by shooting a 76. Minsky and Gradin are just two of five Hockomock golfers from D2 that became individual qualifiers for the D2 State Tournament. Kyle Carnase paced King Philip with a 78, tied with OA's Nick Carter and Mansfield's Tom Eames.

King Philip had a team total of 322, Sharon hit a 339, and Franklin finished with 342. The Hock also had two individuals participate because their team's didn't qualify. North Attleboro's Eric Marchetti shot an 81 while Milford's Ryan Boldy hit an 88.

In Division 1, Taunton finished in 11th with a team score of 356 at Brookmeadow Country Club in Canton. Evan O'Brien shot a team best 87. Stoughton's Mike Milavec (86) and Attleboro's Ryan Murray (87) both performed as individuals.

For Division 3, two Hockomock teams just missed out on qualifying for the State Tournament. Foxboro placed 5th at 335, just four shots over the last qualifying team. Canton hit a 340, good for 6th place. Canton's Sam Reimer (77) and Foxboro's Jake Dorman (81) both played well enough to qualify as individuals in the D3 State Tournament.
