Why do you play the sport of soccer?
I play soccer not only because it's fun, but because it is a beautiful game enjoyed all around the world. I love being part of a team and working towards a goal.
Why is 2012-2013 going to be a good year for Stoughton High School?
The Class of 2013 has some great athletes in all sports. For boy's soccer specifically, the introduction of a new coach and some new players will make a huge impact on the Hock.
What is your favorite Stoughton soccer memory so far?
Becoming Varsity captain this year has really made my soccer career at Stoughton High come full circle. I was JV captain my sophmore year, and seeing myself pregress as a player and as a person has been my favorite memory.
What were your emotions when you played your first varsity game?
Towards the end of my sophmore season of soccer, I was called up to play in a Varsity game. I only played about 5 minutes, but I remember being super nervous. I got on the field and made one good pass and all the nerves left. I just let my body take over and my mind fade back.
What makes playing for Stoughton High School so special?
Stoughton High is great because of the unity we have. The Boys Soccer team is like a family. We all get along so great, we poke fun at each other, build each other up, and offer everyone advice.
When you’re not practicing, what are you usually doing?
I love listening to music, hanging out with friends, snowboarding, and playing disc golf on the rare chance that I'm not playing soccer.
