Why do you play soccer
I play soccer because it was the first sport introduced to me by my father and I love it. I love practicing with my team and having the time of our lives.
Why is 2012-2013 going to be a good year for Stoughton High School?
2012-2013 is going to be a good year for Stoughton High School for many reasona. We have a new coach, Coach Martin, who is teaching us brand new styles of soccer. European soccer to be exact and to leave the SHS tradition of kick and run wide. We hope to possess and control the ball more. It is also going to be a good season because of the better effort the team has been putting in practicing and with the new addition of our gym.
What is you favorite Stoughton soccer memory so far?
My favorite Stoughton soccer moment was when I scored 9 goals my freshmen season at SHS. I was surprised that I had so many.
What were your emotions when you played your first varsity game?
My first varsity game I was very nervous, coach wanted to see if I could play outside back and I didn't think that I would be able to keep up with the senior forwards on the other team since I was only a sophomore. But I got comfortable and adapted well.
What makes playing for Stoughton High School so special?
Playing for SHS is special because even though we had some rough seasons, we have always had a positive team. We show good sportsmanship and never start fights with the other teams. We Black Knights keep our heads high win or lose.
When you're not practicing, what are you usually doing?
When I am not practicing soccer I am either practicing basketball or I am coaching my basketball team.
