Why do you play the sport of football?
Ever since I was 7 years old, I loved the game and everything it stood for. I’ve built a bond between me and the guys I’ve been playing with since then and it’s become a sport which we all love playing together and has brought us great memories.
Why is 2012-2013 going to be a good year for Mansfield High School?
This year will be a good year because we have a lot of younger guys, but we’re all hungry. Our team is a very strong unit and our camaraderie level is very high. When we work together we are a very successful football team.
What is your favorite Mansfield football memory so far?
Winning the Super bowl in 2010, even though I was a sophomore it was great to be a part of it.
What were your emotions when you played your first varsity game?
I was really nervous and had some jitters but they all went away pretty fast.
What makes playing for Mansfield High School so special?
What makes it so special is the fact that you’re not only playing for your team, your also playing for the community. Mansfield Football is a real special tradition that I feel blessed to be a part of.
When you’re not practicing, what are you usually doing?
I spend my free time hanging out with my friends, fishing or attempting to play guitar.
