Here is the first HockomockSports.com Preseason All-Hock Team! We will have an end of the year All-Hock team as well. 

1. Jake Layman (KP) - Layman is a clear choice for the Preseason All-Hock especially because Layman could finish the season as the best player in the state. The Maryland-bound senior averaged over 24 points a game last season as well as over 13 boards. He really stood out with his blocks (4.6) and steals (3.1) Layman will look to lead King Philip to another successful season. 

2. Aaron Calixte (Stoughton) - Calixte had a breakout year last winter as a sophomore as the leading scorer for the Black Knights (19 ppg). Now, the junior captain will look to continue build on that and help Stoughton advance further into the post season. His ability to create his own shot is something that has Division 1 Colleges calling his name. 

3. Sam Bohmiller (Franklin) - As a sophomore last year, Bohmiller came on strong at the end of the year to start Franklin's last handful of games. This year, the junior will have a full season to lead his team from the point and look to improve on his 7.4 ppg, 2.9 apg, 3.4 rpg stat line. Look for Bohmiller to be one of the top point guards in the league this year. 

4. Brian Hershman (Mansfield) - Hershman played a critical role last year helping Mansfield win to the D1 South Finals, posting 13 points a game, 3 rpg, and 3 apg. Without Michael Lofton Jr., Hershman, who's in his senior year, will look to carry the load as the Hornets try to continue their recent success. Hershman is one of the best, if not the best, three point shooters in the league. 

5. Nick Bruha (Oliver Ames) - As a junior, Bruha led the Tigers last year with 18 points-per-game on their way to the D2 South Sectional Semi-finals. Now in his senior year, the captain looks to be the main scoring focus. With shooters Andrew Reardon and Saint Clair Ryan around him, Bruha figures to get some more open looks.
